A Look Back: 50 Years of Montour Preserve from 7PM to 8:30PM at The Montour Preserve, 374 Prteserve Rd., near Washingtonville.From forest to farmland to an environmental and recreation area surrounding a lake, what is now Montour Preserve has evolved through time to what we know today. It first opened to the public in 1972 and has provided outdoor activities to hundreds of thousands of people ever since. In this look through the past, we’ll celebrate the preserve’s half century of serving local communities with historic photos and narrative. You might be surprised by some of the early plans for the preserve and how it has changed through time. Join us for this celebration of this milestone half century of Montour Preserve.
