(Factoryville Fire Company Auxiliary, Factoryville, PA — Fridays through April 7
th, 2023)
(Dateline: Factoryville, PA, March 9, 2023) – One of the best ways to end the work week is to skip
the task of having to cook dinner for the family! Instead, let the volunteers from the Factoryville Fire
Company Auxiliary (FFCA) do the hard work for you. The FFCA Lenten Pizza Sale is well under way
and offers the opportunity to purchase freshly made, square (Old Forge Style) pizzas in red or white varieties

Each pizza is served piping-hot, straight from the Fire Company’s brand-new, state-of-the-
art pizza oven.

Plain pizzas are available for $12 each and customers may expand their pizzas’ flavor profiles by
ordering additional toppings at the cost of $1 more, per topping. The Red Pizza topping menu
includes pepperoni, mushrooms, broccoli, extra cheese, and onion and the White Pizza topping menu
includes broccoli and onions. In addition to the pizzas, FFCA is also offering homemade halushki in
pint ($4.00) or quart ($8.00) containers.
Anyone wishing to order in advance may call the Fire Company at (570) 945-5769, beginning at
3:00 p.m. each Friday afternoon. Pizzas are available for pick-up or by Walk-in order through the
door located on the right side of the Factoryville Fire Company at 412 College Avenue, Factoryville,
PA. Weather permitting, the FFCA Lenten Pizza Sale will take place every Friday through Good
Friday, April 7th

All proceeds from this fundraising event will benefit additional FFCA projects, which eventually
provide direct donations to or support for the Factoryville Fire Company. Within the past six months,
the FFCA fundraising monies have been used to purchase a brand-new gas oven as well as a pizza
oven for the Fire Company kitchen. FFCA funds have also been used to provide equipment used in
fighting fires or in providing emergency medical services to the community.
The Factoryville Fire Company is always looking for volunteers, both adults and teenage junior
members. If firefighting is a little too intense or physically demanding, maybe the FFC Auxiliary is
where you belong. If you would like to support your community and have an interest in cooking or
hosting events, maybe FFCA is a place for you. FFCA requests each member commit to the
organization by contributing $5 for a two-year membership.
