10 AM – 3 PM The Little Buffalo Apple Festival at Little Buffalo State Park, 1579 State Park Rd, Newport. The annual Apple Festival is back again! An afternoon of food, fun, entertainment, and of course, Shoaff’s Mill! See the mill grind corn as it did for over 100 years, witness demonstrators such as spinners and weavers, and sample fresh pressed apple cider, warm apple butter, and fresh baked cornbread! Vendors and demonstrators wanted! If you are interested in setting up at Apple Fest, contact mmarker@pa.gov for more details. Vendor space is extremely limited. Entertainment, food, & Demonstrators scheduled to include: Grange Food Truck, Hall’s Ice Cream, Adia Walker & Kenny Brady – Blacksmithing (both days), DonnaLynn ODonnel – Intro to Spinning, Intro to Backpacking demonstrations, Woodmobile (Sunday only)Forestry – Rattlesnakes ( Sunday only),Falconry demos (Sunday only) on Saturday, Jay Smar performing folk music
